Description

Free outdoor skatepark with concrete surface. Lit at night. Skateplaza-park piura is a dream come true for the crew in the province of the sun and surf of peru. Piura has the best beaches for surfing like cabo blanco and mancora or etc.. The skateplaza is placed in downtown piura, 5 blocks away from the main plaza of the municipality and church. Thea beaches are in mancora some more kilometres away. This was another project from peter henningsen viale, peruvian well know skateparks and skateplazas designer. The project started 2 years before with some visits from peter to piura. The miguel cortez plaza a.k.a. Parque infantil, has been a skate and bmx spot for years and it is was splitted by a channel for rainny days. The channel construction had generated stairs and some banks. Peter redesigned the park to a skateplaza on one side and on the other side a skatepark type with bowl stairs and some tubes or bars. On the skateplaza side there are curved ledges and manuals with side bars, and hubbas. Good floor and three shadows.
