Free outdoor skatepark with concrete surface. This is a fun skate park that has two levels and a center piece, quarter pipes, ledges, stairs, hubbies, handrail, and a rad corner piece. Some parts of the park are still awaiting the phase 2 of the plan the city said they would update in the future. The city also polices the park pretty heavy so helmet and pads are advised, or just ask a local when the heat is at its lowest. They will not usually ticket you, but may ask you to leave. All in all, when you get a chance to skate a while the park is very fun and has a ton of stuff to skate. Visit mt. Airy and get your shred on!
